Sally Irwin
Sally has a background in interior design, owning La Jolla Village Design for over 30 years. She has now brought her creativity and style to the visual arts, favoring mixed media and oil on canvas.
She graduated from California Western University with a degree in Art and has studied under numerous local artists.
She enjoys painting as a process and the exploration of light and a variety of subjects, whether it is still life, en plein air or imaginary settings.
In 2009, 2011 and 2012, she was invited by The La Jolla Historical Society to be an “Artist in the Garden” on The Secret Garden Tour and will return in 2015.
